Whether or not you’re a hockey enthusiast is totally irrelevant when it comes to appreciating the brilliance of what Pittsburgh’s Evgeni Malkin did on Tuesday night. With his team in desperate need of a goal and the Canadiens seemingly at the top of their game, Malkin reached into the old back of tricks and pulled out a doozy from the Lars Eller Collection. Sure, the Penguins may have ultimately still lost when it was all said and done, but Malkin walked away with something better – our hearts.
