Boston sports fans love their hockey in general, and they really love their Boston Bruins. Maybe a little too much, even. After their squad’s impressive 1-0 overtime victory over the Washington Capitals on Thursday night, in their exuberance, Bruins fans somehow managed to break off a huge glass panel and send it tumbling to the ice below.
Problem was, something stood between that panel and the ice below. That something?
The team’s center, David Krejci.

As a result of the freak accident, Krejci lay on the ice for several moments before eventually heading to the locker room. At this time, no updates have been given on how he’s doing.
