LONGMONT, Colo. -- A part-time embalmer is accused of stealing gold crowns and fillings from corpses, and then selling them to pawn shops.
Adrian Kline, 43, was indicted by a Boulder County Grand Jury on eight counts of providing false information to a pawn broker and two counts of providing false information to a secondhand dealer.
Prosecutors allege Kline removed gold crowns from bodies prior to embalming, and even stole dental gold from some cremated remains.
and.. I have always thought that anyone who stole from graves would have to be a contemptible pig. This just proves it..
AMADOR COUNTY, Calif
A sex offender is facing various charges for allegedly stealing mementos and flowers from a cemetery, then giving them to neighbors as gifts.
Earlier this month, Amador County Sheriff’s deputies were called about items being stolen from grave sites and mausoleum at the Sunset View Cemetery.
A cemetery employee approached a man who had been “hanging around”, and he was told not to return.
The employee gave deputies the man’s license plate number and images from surveillance cameras at the cemetery.
Deputies recognized him as a registered sex offender living in San Joaquin County named Jimmy Ray Goodall.
They went to his home and found items from the cemetery inside. Neighbors also had items from Sunset View, and told deputies they were gifts from Goodall.
Goodall was arrested and faces charges of malicious acts at a cemetery, possession of stolen property and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
He is currently at the Amador County Jail.
