Arkansas head football coach Bobby Petrino was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident this past Sunday. Because he’s your standard tough guy, Petrino was not wearing a helmet at the time. He ultimately sustained multiple broken ribs and a cracked vertebrae in the crash, but thankfully seems to be doing well now.
On Tuesday, Petrino met with the press and answered a few questions about what had transpired this weekend. Predictably, someone asked him if he would be wearing a helmet when riding his motorcycle from here on out.
His response: "I probably will, yeah."
This is what a guy who fell off his motorcycle while not wearing a helmet but will probably wear one next time looks like (via Larry Brown Sports):
Note: Tune in on Tuesday to the Bottom Line Sports Show as they talk all things college football, and also have one lucky NFL Draft prospect on to discuss what the future holds.
