Gonzaga Senior center Robert Sacre is 7 feet tall. He hails from Canada and is also a part of the Canadian national basketball team. The main objective for his new agents Keith Kreiter and Greg Haenke of Edge Sports International, Inc. is that Sacre also becomes a member on a National Basketball Association team.
Kreiter believes that Sacre is clearly one of the top five center prospects in the 2012 NBA Draft (as evidenced by his tweet). DraftExpress.com ranks him as the 31st best Senior, but only two players on that list are true centers (North Carolina’s Tyler Zeller and Vanderbilt’s Festus Ezeli). Sacre’s 11.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game look good. Those numbers look even better when placed next to his average minutes played – 26.3. Although the low number of minutes may be a concern of its own.
Sacre was named first-team All-West Coast Conference and defensive player of the year for his work this past season. And apparently he has a great personality (for what it’s worth).
