Siyar Bahadurzada Made a Really Great First impression

You only get one chance at making a first impression and going out and face planting your opponent just 42 seconds into your debut is a damn good one. The afghan born Siyar Bahadurzada signed with the UFC in September of last year but due to an injury he didn’t make his debut until Saturday’s UFC on Fuel TV: Gustafsson vs. Silva event. Man the wait was worth it!

Siyar Bahadurzada (21-4-1) took on the always tough Brazilian Paulo Thiago as part of the night’s main card. Fans that knew of “Siyar the Killer” had been clamoring to see him inside the Octagon for months but for those that didn’t know Bahadurzada, you do know.

Just 42 seconds into the fight, as Thiago was charging it, Bahadurzada land a short right hand that sent his opponent face first into the canvas. Thiago face slammed into the canvas extremely hard and he would lay there for a good minute. Welcome to the UFC Mr. Bahadurzada!

The knockout earned him an extra 5ok for “Knockout of the Night” and the welterweight jumps right into the mix in the 170 lbs. division. He might have to wait a little while for his next fight though, because during the post fight interview Bahadurzada mentioned he might have broken his hand during the fight. Either way he’s first impression at UFC on Fuel TV 2 will stay in minds of fans and the UFC brass until the next time Siyar Bahadurzada steps into the Octagon.
