Mitch Winehouse, along with Amy’s mum Janis, her stepmum Jane and boyfriend Reg Traviss will all be appearing on CNN anchor Anderson Cooper’s new US show on Monday (Sep 12) to speak for the first time about her death.
The show’s host tweeted: “I’m really looking forward to speaking with Amy Winehouse’s family. They’ve been through so much, and her talent was so great.”
On Wednesday (Sep 14), in the UK, The Amy Winehouse Foundation will be officially launched, after Mitch won back the rights to the Internet domain from some dick who’d decided it was his. Also writing on Twitter, Mitch said: “We will turn our grief into positive action”.
In other Winehouse news, the late singer’s accounts have just been published and show her to have been worth a surprisingly low ?2,0004,963 at the time of her death, in July.
And finally, sculptor Daniel Edwards, who you may remember for his naked portrayal of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, and Britney giving birth, has unveiled a topless bust of Amy.
In a press statement, Edwards said: "I thought of her as a beautifully delicate fairytale princess, waiting to be rescued from fame and addiction, but her prince never came".
