Taylor Hall was forced out of commission on Tuesday night after he inadvertently took a skate to the face during warm-ups. The scary, bloody accident was caught by television cameras and reinforced the old “always wear a helmet” message for everyone tuning in at home. But the viewers weren’t the only ones who learned a lesson, apparently. In an interview with the good folks at The National Post, Kim Strba said that her son has been ordered to always wear a helmet from here on out.
“We’ve had that discussion. Yes, he will be wearing his helmet,” she said.
