Vancouver native Milan Lucic obviously kind of disappointed his hometown fans last year when he led the Boston Bruins to a Stanley Cup title. So in response, like any right-minded individuals would, they opted to get back at him by spray-painting a giant penis and obscenities on Lucic’s church…
..in Vancouver.
Yes, you read that correctly. In response to Lucic helping defeat Vancouver for a championship, the hometown fans decided to deface one of their own Vancouver churches.
Lucic’s girlfriend posted this photo of the church in question on her Twitter account (via Yahoo! Sports ):
Common sense has never been the strong suit of Lucic’s Vancouver detractors. Mind you, these are the same folks who took to rioting on their own streets after their team flamed out in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Bruins last year.
No wonder the Canucks couldn’t get amped enough to win the championship – their fans are pitifully embarrassing in every imaginable way.
