Oklahoma State Senator Ralph Shortey Wants to Ban Human Fetuses From Food

Oklahoma GOP State Senator Ralph Shortey recently claimed that companies have used stem cells in the production of food. In response to his own research, Shortey introduced a bill that would prohibit the manufacturing and sale of food “which contains aborted human fetuses.”

Shortey told News Talk Radio KRMG in Tulsa: "There is a potential that there are companies that are using aborted human babies in their research and development of basically enhancing flavor for artificial flavors."

Shortey was unable to provide any specific examples and admitted: “I don’t know if it is happening in Oklahoma, it may be, it may not be."
