Billionaire Warren Buffet Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer

The same week that senate Republicans blocked the equitable income tax law that bears his name, the outspoken kingpin of Berkshire Hathaway announced to the world that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

Billionaire Warren Buffett apparently underwent a biopsy last Wednesday, which came back positive for stage I prostate cancer. Buffett returned to the hospital after receiving the diagnosis for further testing.

Fortunately, based on CT and bone scan results, Buffett’s doctors were able to conclude that the cancer has not spread and is not life threatening. The liberal investor, who famously declared that he pays a lower income tax rate than his secretary, met with doctors on Monday to discuss his course of treatment.
