The 2012 NBA Slam Dunk Contest opened in interesting fashion on Saturday night when Chase Budinger of the Houston Rockets decided to bring out P. Diddy as a prop. Budinger went on to predictably dunk over the man who turned churning out rap one-hit wonders into an artform, but the most impressive part of the whole experience actually proved to be Diddy’s well-timed lob.

Diddy can’t be more than six feet tall so jumping over him isn’t that crazy of a feat, but that pass of his -- given some of the weak lobs we’d see later in the evening -- was nice.
