LOS ANGELES -- Detectives found white powdery substances and a spoon with white residue in the hotel room where Whitney Houston died, according to the final autopsy report released.


The scene of Whitney Houston's death got a lot clearer Wednesday with the release of a full autopsy report describing her body, found face-down in the water, and the hotel room, where authorities found a "white powdery substance," a rolled-up piece of paper, and a spoon and a mirror with that substance on them.

Whit­ney Hou­s­ton was sub­merged in bathwa­ter for nearly an hour be­fore a per­son­al as­sist­ant found her dead in the Beverly Hilton Hotel, an autopsy re­port re­leased Wed­nes­day said.


The re­port provided new de­tails on the death of the 48-year-old sing­er who died of a com­bin­a­tion of heart trouble and co­caine in­ges­tion, the Los Angeles County cor­on­er’s of­fice said in a 41-page fi­nal re­port.
