Video: William Buford Hits Game-Winner, Lifts Ohio State Past Michigan State

Ohio State senior William Buford scored 19 of his game-high 25 points in the second half of Sunday’s showdown versus Michigan State. No bucket, however, was more important than the one he hit with about a second remaining on the clock. That jumper wound up giving Ohio State a 72-70 lead, and was essentially the cherry atop a furious rally that saw the Buckeyes fight back from and eventually overcome being 15 down.

Buford’s game-winner forged a three-way tie for the Big Ten championship between Ohio State, Michigan State and the Michigan Wolverines.
