Video: Will Tupac Hologram Go on Tour?

After a successful stint at the Coachella Music Festival, the Tupac Shakur Hologram may be taking his show on the road!

Despite passing away in 1996, Tupac “rose from the dead” and performed alongside Snoop Dogg at the music festival and caused an internet sensation.

The whole experience was impressively real and yet a little creepy. The hologram was created by Digital Domain Media Group, Inc.

“This is just the beginning. Dre has a massive vision for this,” says Digital Domain’s chief creative officer, Ed Ulbrich.

He didn’t specify what Dr. Dre’s plans were, but with this technology an arena or even a stadium tour is feasible!

But would people actually buy tickets to watch a Hologram?

Maybe if he was just the opening act for a real person, but I don’t know it seems like people would be paying a lot of money just to watch a screen.
