Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t really need to net two goals during Real Madrid’s 5-1 drubbing of Osasuna to cement his status as the second best player in the world. That being said, the feat certainly didn’t hurt.
While the second score of the day was undoubtedly impressive, it was Ronaldo’s first goal -- a long distance bomb -- that got the fans out of their seats. Heck, even the Real Madrid superstar himself realized that he had done something special, as he indicated quite clearly with his celebration.
