It’s taken a mere two weeks to make the once-beloved Los Angeles Lakers afterthoughts in their own town. It all started with losing point guard Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers. It continued with the departure of Lamar Odom. Then, respect for purple and gold reached a 52-week low with back-to-back games where this and this happened. And, now, as if Laker Nation wasn’t bleeding enough, an assortment of players decided that this was opportune time to become backup dancers for the walking, talking hip hop afterthought known as 50 Cent.
