We have a plethora of pressies from Woody Allen’s To Rome with Love!
No sooner had the first poster been released yesterday, than today we get the first trailer to go with it. The fact that all of this is coming out so quickly right on top of the name change announcement and the first stills, pretty much cements the idea that on April 19 we’ll hear that Woody’s latest is joining the lineup at Cannes. (It’s anyone’s guess at this point. We know he won’t get the opening night gig and it doesn’t open in France until July, even though it does open in Italy in April…and Woody’s kinda tempermental.)
The romantic-comedy is made up of four vignettes, two of which center on American characters and two on Italian characters. Enjoy the trailer:
The cast includes Allen himself as well as quite a few who have appeared in his films before, like Alec Baldwin, Penelope Cruz, Ellen Page, Jesse Eisenberg, Roberto Benigni, Judy Davis, Greta Gerwig, and Alison Pill. To Rome with Love is scheduled for limited release in the US on June 20. If it does as well as Midnight in Paris, we can expect it to go wide shortly thereafter.
