Everyone already knew that Manny Pacquiao was a huge fan of New York Knicks point guard, Jeremy Lin. The Filipino champion made that abundantly clear when he swooped in to Lin’s defense on Twitter after Floyd Mayweather Jr. famously said that the Knicks guard only got hype because he was Asian.
Well, on Thursday the good folks at TMZ caught up with Pacquiao and asked him how he felt about Linsanity these days. His response?

Mayweather caught a lot of heat for “bringing race into the discussion” when he noted that Lin got a special amount of attention just because he was Asian. It would seem like Pacquiao liking Lin specifically because he’s Asian would deserve a similarly deep reaction.
