Video: Knicks Jeremy Lin and Landry Fields Have an Awesome Handshake

New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has become something of an icon over the last week. This is a guy, mind you, who joined a squad that was sloppily treading through a really disappointing season and appeared to lose two of its best players (who were underachieving anyway) for the foreseeable future. To say that prospects for Mike D’Antoni and Co. looked grim would be an understatement.

Enter: Linsanity.

In three amazing games, Lin has made everyone forget about how awful the Knicks have been this year and has re-enthused Madison Square Garden in a way that we figured only Carmelo Anthony could. On top of his three great games, though, Lin has brought something else to the Big Apple: a great handshake.

Here is Harvard grad Lin and Stanford’s Landry Fields exchanging a pregame handshake exactly in the way you’d expect them to (via Larry Brown Sports):

Well done, fellas.
