Eccentric three-dimensional cartoon character and part-time golfer John Daly is more notorious for his off-the-course exploits than he is for his on-the-course accomplishments. Mind you, this is a man who once claimed that he drank a fifth of Jack Daniel’s every single day when he was 23. This is a man who in his autobiography claimed to have lost between $50 and 60 million gambling over a 15-year span. This is a man who, in 1994, outed the entire golfing world as a bunch of cokeheads without even batting an eye.
Daly is a unique, unique fella. As it turns out, though, he’s also something of an artist. While appearing at the Thailand Golf Championship, Daly went up on stage and performed “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” in surprisingly impressive fashion. Check it out:
And the best part of Daly’s musical endeavors is that, worst case scenario, everyone already knows the entertainment industry is filled with a bunch of booze-addled coke fiends.
