Video: Here is DeMarcus Cousins Pretending to Coach During Kings vs. Grizzlies

Heading into Tuesday night’s game versus the Memphis Grizzlies, the Sacramento Kings had recorded all of 16 wins on the year. Given how foreign the concept of winning generally is to teams that are ranked fifth in their division, you can’t really blame them for getting extra giddy when that once-in-a-blue-moon victory comes.

That extra giddiness is ultimately what inspired Kings big man, DeMarcus Cousins, to put on Keith Smart’s jacket in the final minute of play on Tuesday -- as the team cruised to a nine point win -- and pretend to coach his squad.

Check it out:

That’s not disrespectful to the Grizzlies at all, by the way.

Of course, Cousins is no stranger to taking non-player roles for Sacramento. Earlier in the year he acted out the role of GM and essentially fired Paul Westphal.

Good times.
