Generally speaking: athletes are rich, famous and powerful. Even after they mess up in painful-to-watch fashion, you don’t often feel too much pity for them because at the end of the day they are still going to be rich, famous and powerful.
As it turns out, though, every once in a while even athletes can mess up so badly that the average man can’t help but cringe.
(This happens more than once in a while for LeBron James, actually.)
During Thursday night’s Montreal Canadiens versus Minnesota Wild shootout, Devin Setoguchi not only missed the opportunity to extend the proceedings (Minny lost 5-4), he did so excruciatingly embarrassing fashion.
You will cringe.
