Controversy has erupted over a series of commercials from Kohl’s, which portray some top female athletes as shopping-obsessed bargain hunters.
The ads (below) feature soccer player Mia Hamm, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and Olympic swimmer Dara Torres talking about what a "rush" they get from shopping for deals.
Syndicated blogger Margot Magowan has called for a protest of Kohl’s on their Facebook page.
Margot Magowan, you should be more worried about the example you are setting for your daughter. With all the really terrible things going on in the world you are whining about commercials for shopping? I guess your daughter is supposed to grow up to be just like you, someone so self absorbed they can't tolerate anyone who isn't just a self-important as themselves.
