Video: Bears Johnny Knox Suffers Scary Back Injury vs. Seahawks (Graphic)

It was a scary scene on Sunday when Chicago Bears wide receiver Johnny Knox got bent in half during his team’s eventual 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Approximately four minutes into the outing, Knox caught a pass from quarterback Caleb Hanie only to watch Kam Chancellor knock it out of his hands. As he leapt to retrieve it, Knox got hit by Anthony Hargrove and essentially got bent in half, backwards.

He stayed down for 10 minutes before eventually getting carted off the field.

After the game, Bears head coach Lovie Smith announced that Knox had movement throughout his body.

"He has total movement throughout his body, has total use of all his extremities, which is good," Smith said. "We're doing tests right now. He has total movement. He's not paralyzed or anything."
