It's a photo fans of porn actress Hollie Stevens never thought they would see -- their favorite performer shed of her blonde hair, bald from chemotherapy to treat an aggressive form of breast cancer.
The Daily Mail reports the 30-year-old Stevens has been battling cancer for nearly a year. She had a mastectomy and is undergoing chemotherapy. The cancer has spread to her bones and liver, and she will need an operation next week on her leg and hip.
Fortunately, insurance is covering her medical bills, but Stevens needs money for day-to-day expenses because obviously she cannot work.
An account was set up for her on a donation website, and so far friends and fans have given some $14,000 to help her out.
"She's too proud to ask for help herself, so myself and her other great friends are being pushy and helping her out whether she likes it or not," said January Seraph, a dominatrix who is offering to add a free half-hour to sessions if their clients donate at least $50 to Stevens. "Show Hollie that she's loved and appreciated in her time of need. Because no one should feel alone when they are ill."
