Good wide receivers are hard to come by in the NFL, and that’s probably why Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick wound up being happier about Stevie Johnson’s new five-year, $36.25 million deal (via Adam Schefter) than Johnson was. Seriously, this isn’t an overstatement – Fitzpatrick was actually happier.

Notice a difference in enthusiasm levels?
To be fair, you can’t really fault Fitzpatrick for being giddy to have his No. 1 option back and, most importantly, happy. (WRs are a pain when they're unhappy.) Johnson recorded a team high 76 catches this past season to go along with 1004 yards and seven touchdowns. So long as there is no regression and nobody starts playing complacently, this will be one area that Buffalo can be very comfortable with heading into the coming year.
