Nebraska Cornhuskers Stay at No. 14 in AP, Coaches Polls

After a particularly exciting Saturday night, the Nebraska Cornhuskers will have to settle for a fairly mundane Sunday morning. Despite their historic 34-27 comeback victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Huskers stayed pat at No. 14 in both the USA Today Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Poll.

Still, regardless of the lack of movement on the charts, Nebraska has to feel good coming out of this weekend and into their bye week. After getting absolutely whipped by the Wisconsin Badgers just a week earlier, the Huskers were able to battle back against gritty Ohio State defense, redeem themselves on both offense and defense, and set themselves up comfortably coming out of their toughest two-game stretch of the season.

Plus, quarterback Taylor Martinez silenced all of his critics for at least one week – something everyone is no doubt thankful for.
