Earlier this week, Mirlande Wilson claimed she had a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket, which she bought separately from a pool of tickets that she purchased for her fellow employees at a McDonald's in Milford Mills, Maryland.
Now, Wilson, of Baltimore, Maryland, tells the New York Post that the winning ticket is hidden somewhere in the McDonald’s: "I left my ticket there and it's somewhere safe that only I know about."
"I'm waiting for things to calm down so I can go back to McDonald's and get it. the people there are too excited. I want their heads to cool down before I go back."
However, the manager of the McDonald's said: "That's impossible. She didn't come back here."
Maryland lottery officials say no one has come forward to claim the prize and cannot confirm Wilson’s story.
Stephen Martino, director of the Maryland Lottery, said: “One of the worst things that could happen is for someone to erroneously believe that the winning ticket’s been claimed only to have the actual holder of the ticket be confused and maybe throw away the ticket."
On her Facebook page, Wilson promised to donate all of the lotto winnings to rebuild her native Haiti, which has been decimated by earthquakes.
Whether she has a winning ticket or not, this woman is a lunatic.

You may be right. Remember she was ready to burn all her coworkers but now she is just going to give the money away. Next up will be "oh, the ticket has disappeared..I can't find it now". Is anyone aware that she also has 7 kids and certainly none of the fathers are paying anything for them? We are paying for them. I think this woman is a flat out nut.
How does someone like this get allowed to emmigrate here? Just what did those who make the decisions, decide she had to offer? No education, no common sense. Diversity maybe? "Oh we need more people like this for diversity". What, we don't have enough dumb poor people? I know an Australian Medical Doctor with additional specialty training who got grilled before she got a visa..and she is wealthy! Could it be her race? Don't need anymore of those..

They say she is from Haiti. But they don't say when or how she is able to play the lotto.
If only citizens could play the lottery, then all those Canadians that buy lottery tickets when they are here should not be able to buy any, but sadly, citizenship is not a requirement for any lotto in any state.
