Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom Still Trying for Baby

Being a reality TV star isn’t all fun and games, as Kim Kardashian’s recent flour bomb incident has proven.

But for younger sister Khloe Kardashian, 27, the pressures of living her life extend beyond what goes on in front of the cameras.

Khloe, who married Lamar Odom in 2009, opened up to New! magazine’s latest issue to admit that though she wants to start a family, she is not “sex-crazed” like the show portrays her.

“Lamar and I definitely want children, but I felt pressured by my mom and my sister,” she told the magazine.

The period of time when that part of the show was filmed took place during the NBA lockout, Khloe explained, and she was constantly doing things to cheer Odom up.

“I did cringe a little — it was a little intense,” she said of having to rewatch her own antics play back. “It was during the NBA lockout and Lamar was really depressed, because basketball has always been his passion.

“He’d had a loss in his family over the summer, which of course affected him very much, and my brother moved out and it was very depressing in our house. I was trying to make the house fun, but you can’t tell that from the episode — people just think I’m sex-crazed!”

Late last year, rumors swirled that Khloe and her NBA husband were attempting to have a child via in vitro fertilization.

“She is desperate for a baby with Lamar and will do whatever it takes,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “They have faith the IVF will work.”

But Khloe insists that she and Odom are just trying for baby the old-fashioned way: with some adult action, “three to five times a week.”

Khloe, may the odds be ever in your favor.
