Katy Perry is always looking to one up her fellow pop-stars with changing the look and style of each one of her videos with something different and unique.
The video for Part of Me does just that - as Katy is seen breaking up with a boy who left her to join the army.
The rumor is that the song was written about her ex-hubby Russell Brand, how ever she claims that she wrote the song two-years before she split from Russell.
Telling MTV:
"I wrote it two years ago when I was writing and recording Teenage Dream, [but] it didn't feel right on the record. I'd have to take out one of my other songs that [made the album] a nice, complete package."
