For the second night in a row Blom logged over 6,000 hands and beat some of the best high stakes players on PokerStars.
Isildur1 started his day by 6-tabling Ashton “theASHMAN103” at $25/$50 PLO and winning $80k.
From there he moved on to an old nemesis in Phil “Jman28” Galfond in $25/$50 and was able to beat the BlueFirePoker founder for approximately $140,000.
Finally Bloom took on Kanu7, who he was able to beat for $164,000 in just over 2,000 hands of $50/$100 No-Limit Hold’em.
Having earned more than $600k in the last two days it’s clear that even Blom is aware of his good fortune this week.
“After last night, I’m feeling better than I have in 1 year,” he wrote on Twitter earlier this morning.
After going on a substantial downswing earlier this month, Blom now finds himself up, by $300k, for the first time on PokerStars leaving railbirds to wonder if he will increase his stakes soon.
In other high stakes news Jared “Harrington10” Bleznick was able to put together another big win by raking in $251k on PokerStars.
Scott “URnotINdanger2” Palmer also padded his 2011 record by winning $194k. Palmer is the early leader in online poker cash games with just over $1 million in profit on Full Tilt. He also has won $184k on his PokerStars account.
nutsinho was the evening’s biggest loser dropping $296k, mostly to Bleznick. Ironically, over on Full Tilt, Bleznick was one of the biggest losers on his “harrington25” account. He lost $150k on the site.
Finally popular online player Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger recorded a $126k loss.
