Hastings Cools Isildur1

The two high stakes regulars played over 1,000 hands of $25/$50 Pot-Limit Omaha with Hastings eventually beating Isildur1 for just over $80k.

It’s not the first time that Hastings has won a significant amount from Blom.

In the fall of 2009 Hastings won $4 million from the Swede in one night, essentially ending Isildur1’s legendary run at the high stakes games on Full Tilt.

After running bad in the final 30 minutes of action Blom was clearly tilted. He even made a veiled reference to Hastings sharing hand histories with Cole South and Brian Townsend in the PokerStars chatbox:

“Isildur1: why would you quit this game?” “Stinger88: maybe i wont” “Isildur1: cole south not gonna take over?” “Stinger88: lol” “Isildur1: or u just trying to tilt me as usual?”

In the end Hastings did quit and Blom resorted to playing $5k Sit & Goes. After losing $30,000 more Blom finally logged off for good.

Despite his loss, Isildur1 is still up by over $100,000 on PokerStars this year so he didn’t lose his entire roll to Hastings this time around.

In other high stakes news Mitch “LooneyGerbil” Carle picked up $121k on PokerStars while Jared “harrington25” Bleznick (+$87k), Gus Hansen (+$67k) and trex313 ($63k) were the big winners on Full Tilt.

Once again Bleznick won big on one of his online poker accounts but lost on the other. This time he lost $165k on his PokerStars “Harrington10” account.

Some of the other big losers included rumprammer (-$95k), S3 TRX (-$62k) and kerendream (-$54k) on Full Tilt.
