It was three months ago that she unleashed “Part of Me” on the world. In it she channeled her anger and bitterness towards her ex, Russell Brand.
But things have changed for the singer. A close friend of the singer told Us Weekly that she is trying to get him back as she’s a lost soul right now. A trip on her own to India in early April – where she and Brand wed in 2010 helped changed her mind about her ex. The friend explained that being back stirred up old feelings for her and that she had already been missing him.
While Katy may be pining for Brand, the friend told the magazine that a reconciliation was a long shot. At this point, the friend admitted they’re just trying to be friends.
