Comedian, Actor Larry Miller Rushed to Hospital with Serious Head Injury

The Daily Mail is reporting that a veteran actor has been hospitalized for what is being described as a "freak head injury."

Larry Miller, 58, was rushed to a Los Angeles area hospital Wednesday evening after a taping of Celebrity Apprentice star Adam Carolla's podcast. Directly after concluding the podcast, Miller stepped outside to take a phone call and reportedly lost his balance.

Miller fell backwards, slamming his head against the hard wood floor. Eyewitnesses at the scene called 911 and the hospital emergency room had him transferred to the ICU for observation. Doctors are planning to keep him in bed for a day or two, but Miller is expected to make a full recovery, according to TMZ.

Larry Miller is set to appear in the upcoming film "General Education" alongside comedienne Janeane Garofolo. He is perhaps best known for his comedic performances in "The Nutty Professor" and "10 Things I Hate About You."
