Autism Diagnoses on the Rise

The diagnoses of autism and related disorders rose 20% between 2006 and 2008, according to a report from the Centers for Disease Controls.


The report said the odd of a child being diagnosed with autism was one in 88 in 2008, compared to one in 110 two years earlier. In 2002 it was one in 155.
