Adam Levine was blindsided by his break up with now ex girlfriend Anne V. as the duo had been dating for two-years.
According to some it was a "cheap shot" that the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model would post online that she broke up with him.
"Anne didn't want it to look like he broke up with her."
"Adam's heartbroken. He wasn't even fully sure they were really broken up." says a Levine pal.
"Anne said he didn't pay her enough attention," says a friend of the model.
